Tips for playing the song
The guitar part was originally written in E, a little too high. So I decided to raise the guitar to capo 6, and drop my voice a half-step to E flat. I vamp on the A2 in the verse, hammering on D E G (relative to the capo) on the fourth beat of each line.
About the lyrics
The lyrics of the verse come from Romans 8 and Song of Solomon 6. The chorus is straight out of Exodus 33. Be sure to check out the context there! Since this song is still in the process of being written, I'll add more here later.
