Call me back to the place where I be-long

You came to me, Offered friendship, Called me family, made me whole

But is my heart of stone the best place for you home?
Am7 Dsus D
It seems such a small place for a king

You are welcome inside, I sur-render my life

All my hopes, all my dreams, every-thing
ch2: C G Am7 Dsus
Call me home------ Call me home------
C Dsus G (Riff)
Make my heart into the place where you be-long
Out: [Riff]
Oh my Jesus, Oh my Jesus
Oh my Jesus won’t you call me home [repeat and build]
Turn my heart into the place, Where your never-ending grace
Cleanses me in every way, Come and fill me---

Tips for playing the song
The pre-chorus is intended to be quieter than the verse. The tag out is the biggest part of the song.
About the lyrics
This song is a play on words. The first time through, I'm asking God to beckon me back home, to invite me to live with him, to draw me into intimacy. But the second time, the meaning changes. Then I'm asking God to identify me as his home, inviting him to live within me. I want Christ to be at home in my heart.
