I've had people ask me why I re-wrote a song that was already so good. I don't deify the song or the feeling I get when it reminds me of my past religious experiences. Here is a fresh expression of praise to my Lord who paid the price for my sin, one that hopefully connects musically to a generation the way that it did when it was first written.
